I read a managerial book a couple of years back titled"The Greatest Management Principle in the World. "What is this best principle? What gets rewarded, gets done. In a nutshell, reward somebody for a behavior they will happily, and rather efficiently, repeat that behavior repeatedly. This is a fairly good principle for effective management, however, I also think that is the number one barrier to communicating in your logistics network and long your supply chain. Allow me to give you an example. If I connect my transport manager's compensation to the average transportation cost per unit, he'll be highly motivated to send everything in full truckloads to reach that incentive. This might not be in the best interests of my business, however. He'll force full truckloads of merchandise to the warehouses and push up inventory price for holding unnecessary finished goods.

Strategic coaching -- a lesson to be heard
An organizational plan is a planned attempt that generates basic decisions and actions, which then form and direct an organization, its own purpose and actions, focusing each strategy on the long run.
Plan establishes the primary leadership, concentrates resources towards a restricted number of instructions, focusing on the stakeholders' advantages -- it constructions a organization's vision to the future.

Company guys are the sort of people that are dedicated to ensure the company succeeds.  There's nothing wrong with letting go, or letting go of staff members.  Focusing on the most important jobs first can help you get more done.   Relationships are vital in all aspects of life. Learning how to build relationships and other personal skills might help bring many gaps.  Time is valuable, make sure every moment counts in your organisation.  Strategic planning is needed to know exactly where you are headed and the outcomes you are after.

For managers and supervisors, leadership training is a vital step to get the maximum from your group.  Your best may not be someone else's highest level, learn how to give criticism or feedback efficiently.  Do not make your employees solve only the terrible issues or problems, by giving them good opportunities they will become more motivated.  Investigate problems when you may to make sure they don't become larger problems later on.  Do you enjoy your role? Find new ways of looking at what you do to keep it motivating.

Completing your tasks will help inspire you for the tasks of the following day.  Never underestimate your own group.  Being a great leader is different than being a good person or a good manager.  Find opportunities by asking your group for creative ideas.  Concentrate on the more important problems at the beginning of the day, it is going to make your day better as it goes on.
